STYROFOAM CM™

As a component of the  THERMAX™ Wall System, STYROFOAM™ Brand Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) (CM Series) creates a seamless, monolithic barrier on the interior of steel stud walls. The spray foam effectively blocks air infiltration by filling gaps, cracks and penetrations, and provides additional insulation. This closed-cell, two-component, 2.0 pcf spray foam successfully incorporates the Enovate 3000 blowing agent from Honeywell.

STYROFOAM™ Brand SPF (CM Series) is available in three formulas, extending the spray season for ambient/substrate temperatures from 30°F to 120°F.

Building Code Compliance

  • ICC ESR-2670
  • Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) Classified Class A (ASTM E84/UL 723)
  • NFPA 285-[06] when used as part of the THERMAX™ Wall System
  • ASTM E331-[00]
  • ASTM E2357-[05]

STYROFOAM RS™

STYROFOAM™ Brand Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) Insulation – RS is a two-component spray-applied foam insulation that creates a seamless, monolithic barrier for protection against water and air infiltration.

Offered in three formulas, extends the spray season or ambient/substrate temperatures from 30°F to 120°F. It can be used for both new and retrofit applications, STYROFOAM™ Brand SPF Insulation expands during installation to fill cavities, cracks and crevices, sealing against uncontrolled air leakage and helping maintain consistent, comfortable indoor temperatures. The closed-cell, 2 pcf foam serves as both an insulation and air sealant for a wide range of applications throughout the building envelope.

Building Code Compliance:

  • Conforms to IRC requirements for foam plastic insulation
  • ASTM E84, Class A at 4 inch nominal thickness
  • NFPA 286, 12 inch maximum foam thickness with code approved thermal barrier for walls and ceilings
  • ABAA standards for air leakage
  • Per AC377 Appendix X – 10" max foam thickness, uncovered, without ignition or intumescent coating, in unoccupied attic and vented crawl spaces. (This meets the latest fire testing protocol per ICC-ES)
