Bayseal 3.0 Roof™

Bayseal 3.0 is a two-component, closed-cell, polyurethane foam system, designed for spray applications. This foam system offers high compressive strengths, smooth aesthetics and a broad application temperature window for extended project opportunities.
SPF provides seamless protection by sealing cracks, crevices and holes while insulating decks from temperature extremes. Polyurethane foam also eliminates condensation preventing mold growth, enhances energy efficiency and lowers lifecycle costs by providing a low maintenance deck solution.

Bayseal 3.0 Attributes- Class II; Closed Cell; 245fa Gas Blown; Reactivities W (45° - 70°F), F (70°- 90°F), S (90°+F); 3.0lb pcf.

EcoBay CC™

EcoBay™ Efficient insulation is a key component in reducing energy consumption, and Bayer MaterialScience LLC offers several technologies for perimeter wall and roofing insulation.

For example, energy-efficient EcoBay™ closed-cell (CC) spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation is formulated specifically for commercial building applications. Properly installed, EcoBay™ CC SPF insulation has an R-value of 6.9 per inch, provides a continuous air barrier and meets stringent ASHRAE 90.1 building standards. When sprayed at a minimum thickness of 1 inch, EcoBay™ CC SPF also serves as a Class II vapor retarder.

EcoBay™ CC is  is approved for Types I-V construction and is ABAA approved.

Bayseal CC Polar™

Bayseal CC Polar - closed cell spray-applied polyurethane foam insulation is a two component, HFC-245fa blown, medium density, structural system designed for commercial, industrial and residential insulation applications.

Extreme ambient air and substrate temperature will influence the chemical reaction of the two components, directly affecting the yield, adhesion and the resultant physical properties of the foam insulation. To obtain desired physical properties, Bayseal CC Polar system should be spray-applied to substrates when ambient air and surface temperatures are greater than 30ºF but less than 80ºF. All substrates to be sprayed must be free of dirt, soil, grease, oil and moisture prior to the application of Bayseal CC Polar system.

Recommended Uses:

·          Ceilings Floors

·          Vented Attics

·          Piping

·          Unvented Crawl Spaces Vented Crawl Spaces

·          Foundations Concrete Slabs

·          Ducts Tanks

·          Cold Storage Freezers

·          Coolers

Things to Consider, Thermal Barrier:
The Model Building Codes require that SPF be separated from the interior of a building by an approved fifteen (15) minute thermal barrier, such as 1/2" gypsum wall board or equivalent, installed per manufacturer’s instructions and corresponding code requirements. The Model Building Codes allow for omission of the prescribed thermal barrier in certain instances by way of diversified testing, such as:

attics and crawlspaces with limited access.

successful testing in accordance with room corner protocols.

Local building codes may vary and must be consulted for applicability of thermal barrier exceptions.
